Tax Fairness
Arizonans work hard every single day and pay their fair share in taxes – why don’t corporations and the ultra-wealthy do the same? Instead of holding corporations to the same standard, Republicans in Congress are busy rigging the rules in favor of big corporations and the wealthy, many of whom donate to their campaigns.
In 2022, Representative Schweikert voted against the Inflation Reduction Act, which made the biggest corporations pay their fair share in taxes and dedicated funding to stop wealthy tax cheats. And in 2023, Schweikert and Ciscomani both voted to repeal funding critical to ensuring that the wealthiest members of our society pay what they owe in taxes – just like the rest of us.
