‘A Horror to Working Arizonans’: New Ad Highlights How GOP Tax Law Benefits Wealthy, Broke Promise to Help Working Families

PHOENIX — Honest Arizona is running ads in Scottsdale and Tucson, encouraging Arizonans to learn more about the GOP Tax Law that benefits the wealthy and corporations while doing next to nothing for working families.  

The ad, which conjures the spooky prospect of broken promises to middle- and lower-income Arizonans, is featured in the Scottsdale Progress and the Tucson Weekly. Many of the law's provisions are set to expire but could be extended by Congress next year.

"Arizonans deserve a tax law that makes the wealthy pay their fair share while helping Arizonans get ahead," said Les Braswell with Honest Arizona. "As Congress looks to extend many of the 2017 GOP tax law's provisions next year, we encourage Arizonans to find out more about how the law affects them, what it does for the wealthy and corporations, and who it helps."
