Honest Arizona is a grassroots coalition made up of Arizona families, seniors, working people, young advocates, and everyone in between. We want our elected officials to put Arizonans’ issues first — to advocate for economic policies that make life more affordable. For too long, working people have been overlooked by politicians prioritizing the special interest donors who fund their campaigns, making working Arizonans pay the price. From threatening cuts to Social Security and Medicare, blocking efforts to lower day-to-day costs, and enabling corporations and the wealthy to cheat their taxes while hardworking Arizonans pay their fair share, Republicans in Congress continue to turn their backs on working people in Arizona. Join us in demanding for greater accountability from our elected officials and making them put us first.
Mission
Honest Arizona is dedicated to restoring Arizonans’ trust in our elected leaders. This means making sure our elected representatives take action and pass legislation that benefits everyday Arizonans. We hold accountable elected leaders who leave Arizona’s working families hanging by impeding efforts to lower day-to-day costs, giving the upper hand to the ultra-wealthy and big corporations, and threatening to take away what working people in Arizona have earned like Social Security and Medicare. We are committed to making sure that Arizonans can count on their elected officials to provide honest leadership and stop turning their backs on working people who play by the rules.
WE DEMAND THAT OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS STAND UP FOR WORKING PEOPLE AND FAMILIES WHO PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE – NOT BIG CORPORATIONS OR THE PEOPLE WHO FUND THEIR CAMPAIGNS.
WE DEMAND THAT OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS WORK TO PROTECT ARIZONA’S HARD-EARNED BENEFITS. WE EXPECT SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE TO BE THERE WHEN WE RETIRE.
WE DEMAND THAT OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS DEDICATE THEMSELVES TO WORK FOR ARIZONANS BY MAKING LIFE MORE AFFORDABLE FOR US – NOT CORPORATIONS AND THE ULTRA-WEALTHY.
