Constituents Speak Up: Who’s Ciscomani Working For When His Votes Benefit The Wealthy?
TUCSON, AZ — Arizonans from the Sixth Congressional District have been calling out Congressman Juan Ciscomani for his failure to represent their needs in Congress.
Congressman Ciscomani recently voted for a spending bill that included funding cuts that would have reduced health care access, education, support for seniors, and access to food and housing. According to the White House, 240 Social Security field offices would have been forced to close or shorten the hours and about 1 million seniors would lose access to nutrition services like Meals on Wheels.
Congressman Ciscomani is also a member of the Republican Study Committee that is seeking to roll back the Inflation Reduction Act and its lowered costs for Arizonans in favor of tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations. House Republicans are pushing for $3 trillion in tax cuts skewed to the wealthy – which would add to the deficit and make inflation worse.
“According to X (formerly Twitter), Ciscomani is now worried about the impact a shutdown would have on him. He certainly was not worried when he voted to cut our benefits, abortion access, housing, rural broadband, and renewable energy programs. Ciscomani needs to get real about his priorities for AZ-06 because they are not working for us!”

“Rep. Ciscomani doesn’t seem to mind breaking the promise he made to the American people. Instead of working on bills that honor the deal that was made with the President and Congress, Rep Ciscomani is taking direction from the extremists who have taken over the Republican Party. This is not a way to govern!”
